We welcome all prospective applicants for study at the Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering SUA in Nitra on the faculty’s Open Day 2018. Applicant’s supporters and visitors are also invited.

We've opened studios and classrooms for you to look backstage of the student and faculty’s life. During the day you can choose any study programme and take a short stroll through the educational process of the future landscape engineer, landscape and garden architect or gardener.

In addition to selected display and outputs from studies of our students, you will have a unique opportunity to talk to them, to ask about the pitfalls and joy of this period of their lives. Admission Office and their study advisers will answer all your questions regarding important deadlines, demanding subjects, accommodation options or scholarship opportunities. The Vice-Dean for Education will summarize and present in a clear manner the basic information about the study, the Vice-Dean for International Relations will present the possibilities of studying abroad. The university library staff will prepare a summary of the registration information and an overview of the study literature.

Moreover, we have prepared for you, together with our graduates, a brief talk about how successful they were in the job market after finishing their studies, how they transformed their knowledge into the practise. Take advantage and the opportunity to meet your future lecturers, faculty management and spaces you will be in the years to come. Ask about anything you are concerned or what interests you.

The programme will run continuously throughout the day between 10am and 2pm.
