Key EU project gathers in Hungary to combat nutrient pollution
From 5th – 6th of November 2025, representatives from 21 partner organisations across 10 European countries came together in Győr, Hungary, for the Annual General Assembly of the Horizon Europe project NENUPHAR - “New governance models to enhance nutrient pollution handling and nutrients recycling”.
BIP Erasmus+ autumn school - Sediments of water reservoirs
The aim of the autumn school is to determine the sediment source in the water reservoir, make a design of their possible use or make a design to decrease the sediment transport in the catchment. The students’ task will be to create a catchment, identify the potential sediment sources in the reservoir, calculate the erosion rate, determine the current volume of sediments, design the possible sediment use and design the erosion control measures in the catchment to decrease the sediment transport. Online and individual work: 6-19 October 2025. On site/face-to-face part: 20-24 October 2025.

On October 23, the ceremonial announcement of the results for the Garden, Park, Detail of the Year competition took place in the Nitra Synagogue, an event organized annually by the Association for Garden Design and Landscaping.
Award for Miroslav Čibik
he annual conference of the JCI Slovakia organization took place at Pálffy Palace in Bratislava. The conference focused on supporting young scientists and their innovative ideas for improving life in Slovakia. On this occasion, our colleague, Ing. Miroslav Čibik, PhD., received an award for his long-term contribution to the development of young science in Slovakia.
